Customer Testimonials

Just a note of thanks for such a wonderful product. I started flying a few months ago with an Aerobird Challenger and quickly developed my skills but was longing for a more aerobatic plane. I've had the Predator now for two months of sheer fun. Highly maneuverable for exciting flight yet very durable and forgiving when I sometimes venture to the dark side. I have six batteries and have been flying so much that my motor finally gave out the other day. My fuselage has shown the trauma of my learning curve, though now I can often fly it to my hand or softly land it within a few feet. This in mind, I was on the verge of ordering a new fuselage anyway........so I decided to experiment. I've always thought the Predator, while an excellent flyer, was underpowered. I scavenged the 380 motor from my other plane and with minor modification and bracing with dowel rods was able to secure the motor in place. I also had trimmed the propeller from the old plane to clear the control boom of the Predator. I've also found that I can fit the (larger) 7.2v and 8.4v / 900mAh batteries from the old plane into the Predator without undue shifting of CG. The maiden flight this weekend was incredible! Far more dramatic acceleration and climb capability ( had to down trim the empenage because the controller trim switch didn't offer enough at full power). Maneuvers are even more snappy and exciting. Expect some orders soon from spectators! Again, thanks for a great product! I would only suggest beefing up the powerplant and propeller some if you consider changes to the design.

Just a note to tell you THANKS for the PREDATOR. I had been wishing and wanting for years. Your plane has allowed me to not only begin my RC hobby, but also gives me plenty of airframe, stability and power to work on my skills for quite a while. The PREDATOR is a well made, easy to fly and VERY sturdy plane. Against my more cautious side, I purchased the PREDATOR in spite of NEVER HAVING FLOWN BEFORE ( I am recommending your T-HAWK to my friends). It is a huge compliment to your design and to the quality of the PREDATOR that I am still having fun! This in spite of MANY crashes (full power nose dives into the frozen prairie soil, upside down out of a failed loop skids and spinning cartwheels from too low altitude turns.........I've tried ‘em all!). I have an extra fuselage and the spare wing and tail pieces from the original set, but I think I will hold onto it as my skills develop. For now, I am flying as much as I can in winds up to 15 MPH (makes for good hovering and control practice), aggressively pushing the envelope of my skills, learning to repair the PREDATOR with clear tape, toilet paper roll noses, 5 minute epoxy..... and having a BALL!. If you want to get started in RC airplanes go to ReadyToFlyFun.com that's my advise!!
