  Ground Take-Off and Landing

In this 45 second clip, you'll see the T-Hawk leap effortlessly into the air off a concrete path, circle around and then promptly return for a landing. The landing approach was good, but didn't quite meet the pavement! Landings on narrow paths are a challange!

 

  

Effortless Ground Take-Offs
You'll be amazed at how quickly T-Hawk leaps into a 10 mph headwind. Loops are also a breeze! Approach the landing without power for slow gentle touchdowns like shown here. T-Hawk glides so well is was necessary to use down elevator to bring it down for a landing into the wind.

Be safe and never fly over or near people, or parked or moving traffic.


  Effortless Hand Launches Too!
T-HAWK hand launches easily even in 10 - 15 mph winds, but you've really got to respond quickly with elevator adjustments as your flying direction changes from headwind to tail wind, and those 20+ mph gusts are a real challenge with sudden rudder corrections. Beginners should wait for calmer conditions. You'll hear the wind in the audio. At about 38 seconds the motor is switched off for a glided descent, but the propeller still makes a whirling sound like a pin wheel as it passes nearby.


 

Enjoy Basic Aerobatic Figure 8s and Loops

T-HAWK's power will get you high quickly for safe aerobatic fun. This clip shows loops much too close to the ground, don't try this until you're a pro. It's also fun to cut the throttle to glide down for a slow soft ground approach as performed here about 1 minute into the clip.

Skill or Luck?

An unsuspecting gust forces this T-HAWK to turn and dive suddenly on approach for landing. A quick rudder correction remarkably executed leads to a picture perfect landing.
