IMPORTANT MOTOR OVERHEATING GUIDELINES FOR THUNDERBAT XF
When using a 3 cell 11.1V LiPo battery, observe the following to avoid overheating which may damage the motor.
Never run this motor continually for over 5 minutes when it's power exceeds 90W. Unless you have the ability to measure the power output and mark the corresponding throttle position, we recommend sliding the throttle trim all the way down. This usually will limit the full throttle stick output to about 90W.
Never run the motor continually for over 10 seconds when it's power reaches 140W. This will correspond to full throttle stick with the throttle trim all the way up. Think of this as an "afterburner" mode to be enabled using the throttle trim. This will allow vertical climb and an extra boost in sport aerobatics.
