The New ThunderBat XT Park Jet is the ideal entry Park Jet because its extra light, extra durable and gyro assisted to make for easier launches and slow speed flying. Weighing in at only 10oz, the ThunderBat XT Park Jet boasts a mere 8.3 oz/sf wing loading, lower than any of our other Park Flyers! This means the ThunderBat XT can fly slower and you won't have to be so tense to respond with lighting speed for instanteous corrections common with the typical high speed jets. The lower speeds also make it more reasonable to fly in smaller areas and the high power and strength to weight advantage allows the ThunderBat XT to pull extreme G's in tight situations to get out of trouble. (1) The wing and tail are made with an enhanced signature refinement of the high-strength EPO foam featuring high rigidity and toughness so it can take a lot of abuse. The new tail configuration with elevator control is optimized for stability and precise pitch authority at any speed. New for 2011! We've beefed up the Carbon Fiber embedded inside the tail booms from 2mm solid to 3mm tubing for even greater control at top speeds.
(2) The resilient PE nose is removable, absorbs harmful impacts and is easily restored to it's original shape. New for 2011! No more messy tape is needed to secure a loose nose cone. Velcro tabs on top, bottom and velcro spots on the leading wing edges provide secure, clean and reusable attachment.
(3) Rear 2300Kv brushless 2211 outrunner motor with heavy-duty molded PC mount is protected from impacts and won't break out easily. High efficiency 2211 outrunner brushless motor weighs only 20g yet provides nearly the same thrust to weight performance as the higher speed ThunderBat XF 2018, New for 2011!
